Welcome to Khaolak Elephant Conservation — a small, environmentally minded elephant care centre near Khao Lak,
run by the sixth generation of a family that has looked after elephants for more than 160 years, passing down what they know and how they feel about Asian elephants.
Animal welfare is the basis of everything we do. We believe responsible, ethical elephant tourism can play a real part in the survival of the Asian
elephant — but only with the highest standards of care. We are against any unnatural or harmful practice, and we are committed to
improving elephant welfare and to education.
