• An off-road drive up to the highest viewpoint on Koh Samui.
• Wat Teepangkorn, a hilltop temple on the highest ridge of Koh Samui, with views over forest, mountains, sea and the islands nearby.
• Hin Ta Hin Yai (the Grandfather and Grandmother rocks): large, oddly shaped rocks on Lamai beach, and one of the best-known sights here.
• The famous mummified Buddha at Wat Kunaram.
• The Na Muang waterfall, which rises in the mountains at the heart of the island.
• A coconut plantation. Koh Samui, the second largest island in Thailand, was once known for having more coconut plantations than anywhere else.
• Lunch at the Panorama restaurant.
• A visit to the elephant sanctuary.
